ART CONSERVATOR JOUNRAL


Art Conservator, is a triannual publication which covers various aspects of treatment methodology, technical analysis, and research carried out by conservators in both our Williamstown and Atlanta centers.

Art Conservator was founded in 2006 and is produced by editor, Timothy Cahill .¬†Its full-color photography, innovative features, and accessible articles illustrate the conservation process and describe practical and theoretical issues facing 21st-century conservators.¬†Published three times a year, each installment contains a Technical Bulletin prepared by one of WACC’s staff conservators, which delves in-depth into a topic of importance to museum professionals and others working with cultural objects.

Art Conservator is distributed free to WACC members, friends, and clients, as well as museums, art libraries, colleges and universities, and other interested institutions and individuals in the US, Canada, Europe, and beyond. Any nonprofit institution may request to be added to our mailing list.
