NONPROFIT MEMBERSHIP

The Williamstown Art Conservation Center was founded by a consortium of five art institutions and retains its collective ethos. Membership is offered to all nonprofit cultural institutions including museums, historic sites, educational institutions, and others.

Membership fees are determined on a sliding scale. Benefits include:

The consortium ensures that professional conservation services are available to institutions that would otherwise be unable to supply them for themselves. Member institutions participate in the governance of WACC, including electing and serving as trustees, overseeing the Center’s operating charter, and contributing to policy.
