ATLANTA ART CONSERVATION CENTER – AACC

LOCATION

The Atlanta Art Conservation Center is located 14 miles north of downtown Atlanta in Chamblee, Georgia. Centrally located in the Southeast, the center is approximately three hours from several metropolitan areas, including Birmingham, AL, Chattanooga, TN, and Greenville, SC. In addition, the Atlanta region is home to over fifty colleges and universities, numerous museums, and many musical and visual arts institutions, making it a vibrant hub of arts and culture in the south and the ideal home for the AACC.

PARTNERSHIP

Since its founding in 2001, the Atlanta Art Conservation Center has closely partnered with the High Museum of Art, the largest visual arts museum in the southeast and home to a collection of over 18,000 works of art. Located in the High’s offsite care facility, AACC works with seven member cultural institutions in Georgia and Alabama and provides conservation services to clients, both institutional and private, from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee.
