ART CONSERVATOR
Art Conservator was founded in 2006 to inform and educate the WACC community and greater public about activities at the Williamstown Art Conservation Center. Art Conservator highlights the convergence of science, history, ethics, and art that lies at the heart of the conservation profession. Its full-color photography, innovative features, and accessible articles illustrate the conservation process and describe practical and theoretical issues facing 21st-century conservators. Published two times a year, each installment contains a Technical Bulletin prepared by one of WACC's staff conservators, which delves in-depth into a topic of importance to museum professionals and others working with cultural objects.
Art Conservator is distributed free to WACC members, friends, and clients, as well as museums, art libraries, colleges and universities, and other interested institutions and individuals in the US, Canada, Europe, and beyond. Any nonprofit institution may request to be added to our mailing list.
